Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"There are some bad reviews for this place, but from my experience I have to disagree because the yakitori was very delicious, good portion, and comes with fair price. Good service also. The only minus poin is if you’ll face difficulty to pay non cash since the signal (EDC or phone for QRIS) was quite bad."
"Actually, in front, there is a big round sign of this restaurant but I just knew that the place is on the upper level. Arrived, the vibes of the place were like the 80s style but that’s good they had a good ambiance. The other, they have 2 rooms with tatami style. The food and beverages are good to try, but the price is slightly high."
"A good place to eat kushiyaki! The momo negi, momo milky miso, tsukune and kawa was really good! I highly recommend the kawa, it was crispy, nicely salted. The tsukune was bomb too! Very juicy, with a slight sweet savory sauce. The gyoza cream was good! Nicely creamy, juicy, slightly crispy on the skin, a lil bit of truffle smell! The nanban was very good, they add fish eggs to the tartar sauce. The only downside to the nanban was that it was pricey (75k) but not using japanese rice :("
"i’ve got recommendation from TikTok, overall it’s all very goooooddd. servings, places, reservation, foods, people around was niceee Thanksss"
"Really loved the creamy gyoza, it really is worth it, with the price! Creamy, the scent of truffle, and the chewy taste of gyoza's meat, it really is blend well, really love it! The gyoza mendul2 The gyu cheese and momo tare really is worth the hype! The niku udon so-so, but love the chewyness of the udon The gyukatsudon so-so, the meat quite dry and overcooked, too crispy"
"The Place is quite comfort. The food is nice and okay, but just lil bit salty."
"Good ambience, it feels like cyber punk aesthetic but also japanese city pop kinda place. The must try menu is kawa yakitori and karaage! The crunchyness is top notch! I had little accident on my salmon don but the waitress is so kind so I get a new one so thank you for the excellent services! Ps. The rice will be better if served hot"
"Restaurant Blok M: Honestly the yakitori are okay, of pretty decent sizes but it was a bit expensive for the price point. We only had like 4 yakitori, 1 rice menu (the gyu mentai) and 2 ocha all came out to be IDR269K. I think that’s a bit expensive and honestly not worth the price. Had to ask several times to refill ocha cuz the ocha glass was so small. The vibe was nice tho, neon futuristic etc. Might not choose this location as daily yakitori fix but maybe will consider for end of months or paydays."
